Staying at Oyo the Station Hotel Penrith was a delightful surprise on my recent adventure through the scenic Lake District. Just a short stroll from the town center, I loved soaking in the lovely views of Penrith Castle right from my window—a perfect backdrop for those early morning coffee moments! The staff were incredibly welcoming, always ready with helpful tips about local attractions, which made our mini-escape that much easier. Our room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with a flat-screen TV and tea-making facilities, perfect for winding down after a day of exploration. Oh, and don’t get me started on the friendly locals we met at the bar—it felt like stepping into a time capsule of stories and laughter. All in all, whether you're traveling solo or with friends, Oyo the Station offers a charming stay without breaking the bank—I can’t wait to return for another round of adventures!
